We believe it is time to protect this beautiful, unique and fragile environment. If you agree, we ask you to sign our petition.

This petition urges the President of the United States to designate approximately 80,000 acres of National Forest lands in the greater Sedona and Verde Valley area as a national monument specifically named “The Sedona Verde Valley Red Rock National Monument.” The federal lands, within the Coconino National Forest, that make up the proposed monument have a rich history of human habitation dating back 14,000 years. The area is abundant with antiquities which are at risk from the millions who visit yearly.

These lands are a transition area between the Sonoran Desert to the south and Colorado Plateau to the north. The region’s unique landscape is filled with monumental buttes, multi-hued cliffs, towering spires, and rugged canyons that give us a window into the foundation of the Colorado Plateau. The region’s unique scenic views, cultural heritage, and riparian values are renowned throughout the world. The Monument lands are a major feature of the Pacific flyway for migrating birds and provide wildlife habitat for numerous sensitive species.

This Business supports the efforts for the Sedona Verde Valley Red Rock National Monument designation!
